Our Story

Built for cat lovers in small spaces.

Camilla Ni

Wuxi, Jiangsu, China Cat lover & rescuer 9 years experience

Camilla is a dedicated cat lover from Wuxi, Jiangsu province, China. For the past 9 years she has been caring for and rescuing cats, giving countless animals a second chance at a happy life. She currently lives with her beloved 7-year-old British short hair blue cat, Anna, who inspired much of what you will find on this site.

She started CatInApartment because she could not find a resource that spoke directly to apartment owners in compact living spaces. Everything she writes is grounded in real, hands-on experience, not theory.

"Every cat deserves a joyful life, no matter how small the home."

Our Approach

Three principles guide every piece of content on this site.

Cat playing indoors

Practical First

Every tip should be usable in a real apartment, on a real schedule. No advice that requires a garden or a spare room.

Cat resting peacefully

Cat-Centered

We focus on what the cat actually needs, not what looks good on social media. Comfort, stimulation, and safety come first.
